I'm Robyn, a graduate of Louisiana State University, serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional to the Lafayette & surrounding areas. I work with people who are looking for someone to help guide them on their journey to something different. I tend to be relaxed in sessions & approach therapy as a partnership. However, I'm straightforward & direct with my clients but promise to always treat you with respect & compassion. I'm especially passionate about helping individuals heal from trauma. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I have undergone a variety of trauma-focused trainings such as but not limited to, EMDR, trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (tf-CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, & Written Exposure Therapy. I have also completed the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors & Trainers (LASACT) program for addiction counseling & have a long history of working in substance recovery centers.
My specialties include trauma & addictive disorders but I have experience & success in working with mood disturbances & other presenting issues. I'm passionate about working with others & remain engaged in continued education & personal learning to be the best for my clients. I believe in individualized treatment through the use of a multi-modal approach. Together, you & I will find a treatment that fits best for you and your needs.
I have completed specialized training to offer Telehealth therapy sessions via my secure platform to anyone residing in the state of Louisiana and offer in person sessions on Saturdays in Lafayette.
My focus is to help you heal, energize, and become aware of your inner strengths. This is achieved by providing a safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan with you as a partnership. I will push you to tap into the innate part of yourself that longs to be your healthiest self.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. You are not alone. We are in this journey together and you are the one in charge of your treatment.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, I am able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Recovering from drug and/or alcohol abuse can be overwhelming and complicated. Therapy sessions are a way for you to get additional support and accountability in your journey to long-term sobriety. With substance abuse specific experience, I am able to offer various resources and support to help you to be successful in recovery.
Telehealth (video) sessions are available to anyone in Louisiana through my secure platform making therapy accessible to you in the comfort of your own home. Telehealth can be done using a computer or a smart device by downloading the Telehealth by Simple Practice app.
I am proud to partner with Acadiana Veteran Alliance in their Heal Initiative to provide funding for the Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) injection for veterans with post-trauma symptoms.

I do not accept insurance. Superbills can be provided upon request.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019.
